Policies

Newsibly is a discovery and referral service for news.

This page outlines the basic operating position for Newsibly. It is intended to make the product model clear to readers, publishers, and rights holders.

What Newsibly is

Newsibly is an aggregator that helps readers discover current New Zealand news reporting. We organise article discovery, ranking, and navigation so users can browse important stories more efficiently.

Newsibly is designed to send readers to the original publisher site. When a reader chooses a story, the intended destination is the publisher or source that created and published that article.

Our goal is to help users discover reporting and then continue reading it at the source, rather than to replace the publisher visit.

Content ownership and publisher rights

Newsibly does not claim ownership of publisher articles, and nothing on the service is intended to transfer or reduce any publisher or rights-holder ownership rights. Those rights remain with the original publisher or other applicable rights holder.

Source attribution and no ownership claim

Newsibly aims to preserve clear source attribution and direct linking to original reporting. We do not present ourselves as the publisher of third-party articles, and we do not represent third-party reporting as our own work.

Service updates and availability

Features, rankings, presentation, source coverage, and access conditions may change as Newsibly evolves. We may update this page from time to time as the service becomes more mature.

Publisher contact or removal requests

If you are a publisher, rights holder, or authorised representative and want to raise an attribution concern, request a correction, or ask us to review how your publication appears on Newsibly, contact [email protected].
